After the Play

It's about time we got this play over with. I was anxious to get done with it. Don't get me wrong, it was fun but im glad it's finished. I was a little bit nervous before the first show but i got over it. Everyone had to be a little bit nervous, but everybody got through it and did a good job. A couple people messed up, me included, but the audiance wouldn't have known. It was a good experience though, i'm glad i went through with it. If i had the chance, i probably would do it again just because it was a good experience. Also it was a lot better than being in any other english, or any other class really. It was worth it.

Before the Play

I'm kind of excited about the play. It's been a while since the last time I was in one. Even though I don't really have any big parts, I'm still looking forward to doing it and getting it over with. I didn't have to do too much to prepare for this play since I didn't have a whole lot of parts to memorize. I mostly tried to memorize my lines as much as I could when we were at rehearsal so I didn't have to take time after school. However, when I did practice after school, some of the other actors and I engaged in some relaxing activities as we rehearsed our lines. The whole cast has been working hard to get ready to do this, nobody wants to be the one to mess up, and if they do they definitely don't want anyone to notice. So far everyone seems to be getting their lines down; all actors seem to be better prepared for show time everyday. Jim is still the same as he was when the class first started-Still carzy and only cares about the paly. He doesn't seem to be nervous really, he thinks we have it down. You have to trust him, I mean he knows more about acting and preparing for a show than anyone else here so you have to believe he knows what he’s talking about. All together I think that we're ready for this play.
